He became a legitimate “Master” poet quite a while ago, listening to his ear score a poem’s cadence by line, breath, stanza, down the heart of each page. Ken Cathers has been writing and publishing for almost 50 years. He has published 8 collections of poetry, most recently Hometown with Impspired Press in England, and has had his work featured in numerous periodicals and anthologies both in Europe and North America. He has a B.A. from the University of Victoria and a M.A. from York University and has worked in the forest industry for over 40 years. He is a father and grandfather and lives with his wife on Vancouver Island in a small colony of trees.
